When this photo was originally added to the site, we suspected that Stid was in it but had no proof. Now we know. There is a version of this photo that has the names listed and it turns out he is in the top left hand corner. Details were found on this website:

This photo from the State Library of Queensland includes E.B Freeman who “attended the college from 6 February 1917 and qualified as an officer on 31 May 1917 and was appointed as a 2nd Lieutenant, posted to Infantry Reinforcements and proceeded to France in late June 1917.”
These dates and details match the dates that Stid was at Oxford so there is a good chance he is also in this photo.
